The Ghost Carp of Willinghurst

Willinghurst New lake is never easy in the depths of winter on a frost morning, and many people opted for the feeder (well at least you could keep your hands in your pockets) holding out for perhaps a large Perch or Carp. Roger struck at what he considered a run with the tip pulling round. The fish didn't fight very much which prompted the belief that it was suffering the effects of the freezing cold water. After slipping the net under the lip hooked fish it became apparent why the fish didn't fight much, it was dead. Not only dead but rotten, it went about 4lb but you can't weigh in dead fish. Roger was later overheard mumbling about how he hates catching Ghost Carp.
