The second leg of the Royal Oak Stillwater cup was played out at the picturesque Hartleylands complex, Nick’s Lake, and it proved to be one of the year’s highlights. Fishing on pole and pellet on the inside Joe Sheldrick conjured up 331-10-00 of mostly carp to beat the previous record by 16-10-00, congratulations go to Joe for his achievement and doubly so because he also won the Stillwater cup on this one match fished normally over two. Other weights include Mark Cullinane with 234-10-00 and Dave Fox with 168-08-00. There were 5 anglers over 100lbs and 2 over 200lbs, a total of over 1467lbs, What a great venue!
